Jimmy, perhaps you should do some more reading. If you had done so you may have stumbled upon this article which clearly states that commercial drone use is legal until new legislation passes.

"The FAA has prohibited the use of drones for commercial purposes since issuing a policy statement back in 2007, but it failed to go through the proper channels to codify that policy into federal law. Further, the decision reads, the FAA has never before defined small model airplanes like the one used by Pirker and most drone hobbyists as “aircraft” subject to broader FAA oversight, and therefore FAA rules and regulations that apply to “aircraft” don’t, by rule, apply to these small model aircraft."

Try being a little more open minded and embrace the idea of innovation. Drone use will not be banned, it will be regulated.

Furthermore, if you are on the side of the FAA, explain to me the logic of allowing "hobbyists" to fly these devices and banning commercial use. If your stance is based on safety concerns I think we can safely agree that untrained hobbyists are undeniably more likely to break max altitude restrictions and possibly cause an accident than an experienced commercial operator. And the commercial operators surely have more to lose by violating any flight restrictions.

I concur with you Tim. This business is in clear violation of the 2014 FAA press release in regards to commercial UAV use. (Reference below - fifth paragraph). Furthermore, this ruling has been established in the case of Raphael Pirker who was slapped with a $10,000 fine for using a UAV with commercial means. I am honestly dumbfounded here. Did these guys even perform a simple google search of the legality and viability of their business before they set up shop?

Well. Madhia Mirza reports that Stefan Guttormsson noted two anatomical errors when first viewing the statue. But wait, a cross isn't an error because Leif was a known Christian. The second error was that Vikings didn't wear horns on thier helmets. This is probably true, but wait, those are clearly wings on the statue's helmet. They are possiblly also anachronistic to Ericson's era, but Mr. Guttormsson is apparentlyso sensitive to horned helmets that he sees them everywhere. Surely when Madiha Mirza took the picture the lack of horns was noticeable.

Nothing in this story talks about how this company can comply with FAA guidelines for operating UAVs (drones) for commercial use. Can you comment on that?

There seems to be some confusion over push button switches. Push button switches are not a sign of knob and tube. There were actually toggle switches out prior to the old push button. About the only conclusion that can be made about push button switches is that they are a sign of push button switches, Nothing more and nothing less.

They are a durable switch and demand has recently allowed companies to reproduce them.

The CVS in Superior always seems to be empty. I go in there occasionally to buy the sale items, but never anything else. CVS/Walgreens are quite overpriced anyways. I don't understand why they didn't build on the east side of Superior, If you needed something quick, and lived/or happened to be in the area, I would go there, but if I'm already on Tower, I'd probably just go to Kmart/Walmart where the same item is already cheaper. Its like the McDonalds on the East side. I might want to grab something quick, I'd rather go to Burger King, but since Mcdonalds is closer, I'd just grab a burger there. If I'm on Belknap, BK is closer, and I'd just grab something there.

"A view through their eyes: discrimination toward the homeless, poverty stricken" is an excellent piece of journalism. Hopefully the interviews will be heard by those that tend to lump people into categories, giving them some insight into the vast differences among individuals.

Thanks for trying the recipe! I wish I thought of macerating the raisins in whiskey. Like I said in the article, this is a recipe that has thousands and thousands of variations, so go nuts! The crucial part is the bread and custard but other than that you can throw whatever you want in there. Keep exploring and let us know what you come up with!
